特朗普回应获得巨额加密货币收益:自己不知情
Odaily reported that in an interview with CNBC on Thursday local time, U.S. President Trump dodged questions about gains made during his term, stating that his business affairs are managed by his sons and that he was unaware of cryptocurrency investments that earned him over $1 billion net. "I've always made money," he said. "I'm a businessman, and a very good one. I made money, a considerable amount." He noted that others were responsible for investing his wealth, and he didn't know who they were. "I let others manage the money. I haven't even spoken to them—I don't even know who they are," he said. "My son Eric handles this. I don't discuss such matters with him." Trump's latest financial disclosure report shows he earned approximately $1.2 billion from various cryptocurrency holdings last year. He said he was not aware of these investments. "I don't know. But it's not illegal. I could have known," he said, noting there is no legal requirement to "recuse yourself from every decision that might be related to you while running the country. That simply isn't realistic." (Jinshi)
