Odaily reports that DeFi lending protocol Ionic Protocol announced on platform X that, due to the escalating impact of a security vulnerability incident that occurred in 2025, the project has been forced to immediately cease all operations. All users are required to withdraw their assets from its various deployments as soon as possible. Ionic Protocol added that it "had no choice" but to make this shutdown decision, and related services are now entering the termination process.
