The contract is a MU $900 put option with an expiration date of June 26, 2026, a premium of $21.23 million, a trading volume of 7,311, an open interest of 3,909, and an out-of-the-money percentage of 13%.
It is worth noting that over 84% of the volume traded at the ask price, indicating relatively aggressive buying of put options. The position size exceeds the existing open interest, suggesting it is a new bearish bet. The premium continued to rise throughout the trading session and closed near the high of the day. This is one of the largest semiconductor put option trades in the market today.
