Humanity: Old H Tokens Permanently Discontinued, New H Tokens to Be Airdropped at 1:1 Ratio

Odaily Odaily reports that Humanity has announced a recovery plan following a security incident. The old H tokens previously deployed on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Humanity Mainnet have been permanently discontinued. The project will issue a new ERC-20 version of the H token, which will be airdropped at a 1:1 ratio to eligible token holders. The new token will continue to use "H" as its ticker symbol and will be deployed on the Ethereum network. The new contract has undergone a comprehensive security audit and will serve as the sole valid H token within the future ecosystem.

As the attack has been attributed to a North Korean-linked hacker group, all compensation claims are subject to identity verification (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) screening. The official claims portal is now live, and users can submit applications through the official channel. Humanity is coordinating migration efforts with major centralized exchanges, cross-chain bridges, liquidity providers, and ecosystem partners. The team plans to restart Humanity Mainnet within the next few weeks, at which point the new H token will serve as the network’s native gas token.
