The optical communication targets he focused on in early 2025 included AAOI, LITE, and AXTI, with corresponding market capitalizations at the time of approximately $20 billion, $26 billion, and $500 million respectively. As of now, these have risen to $15.37 billion, $74.47 billion, and $7.24 billion.

Serenity further noted that since the optical communication theme was still in its early stages with limited market information at the time, some detailed judgments regarding ASIC projects may have deviated as subsequent information was disclosed. Overall, however, his assessment of industry trends and thematic directions has been validated.
