Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. President Donald Trump stated during a speech on Air Force One today that he hopes to see interest rate cuts, but he will leave the decision-making power over interest rates to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. Trump mentioned that the country is in good shape and the market should rise. He also emphasized that he does not mind Powell lowering interest rates and will leave the decision on whether to cut rates at the October meeting to Powell. When asked about Iran and oil prices, Trump said the U.S. has achieved great success in dealing with Iran, which currently lacks the conditions to possess nuclear weapons. As for oil prices, he noted that the government has multiple options.
