Odaily Odaily Odaily Planet Daily reports that global payment networks Stripe, Visa, and Mastercard are nearing the launch of a new stablecoin platform.
According to sources familiar with the matter, US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is also exploring the possibility of participating in this stablecoin platform. Currently, Coinbase, Stripe, and Visa have all declined to comment, while Mastercard did not respond to requests for comment before publication. Additionally, the revenue-sharing agreement between Coinbase and Circle Internet is set to expire and renew this August, and the current market cap of USDC stands at $76 billion. (CoinDesk)
