WSJ: Iran Regime-Affiliated Funds Moved Over $850 Million Through Binance in Past Two Years

The report states that the network is operated by Iranian businessman Babak Zanjani, who describes himself as a “sanctions-busting” operator. According to Binance’s internal compliance reports, as of last December, the network completed transactions worth approximately $850 million through Binance over the past two years, with the majority of transactions concentrated in a single account.
