AMD announces mass production of next-generation EPYC processor "Venice" using TSMC's 2nm process

Odaily, 21 May - Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced on 21 May that its next-generation AMD EPYC central processing unit, codenamed "Venice," has officially entered mass production. The chip utilizes TSMC's most advanced 2nm process technology, making it the first 2nm product in the high-performance computing (HPC) industry to enter mass production.
Additionally, AMD plans to extend the 2nm process for its data center CPUs to a subsequent new product, "Verano." (Jinshi)
