Lighter completes L2 "escape hatch" verification, enabling users to withdraw to mainnet even when sequencer fails

Odaily reported that Lighter officially announced on X that it has completed the "escape hatch" verification conducted by third-party L2BEAT. This means that even if the sequencer on the L2 layer malfunctions, users can permissionlessly withdraw funds back to Ethereum from Lighter's L2 network, making it the industry's first L2 Perp DEX to achieve this function.
