Iranian MP: Iran "Never Left the Negotiating Table"

Odaily reported on the 19th that, according to Iranian sources, a member of the Iranian parliament stated in an interview that Iran has never initiated war and has never left the negotiating table. The MP also stated that negotiations should be based on respect and recognition of the legitimate rights of the Iranian people. He said he does not want the country to enter a state of war, as war would cause damage to infrastructure and the people; however, if war and confrontation occur, Iran is capable of responding with equal or even greater force.
