Meme stock king Roaring Kitty's X account suspected hacked, RKC market cap fell to $1.8 million after peaking at $12 million

Odaily reported that Roaring Kitty, the protagonist of GameStop's "Retail vs Wall Street" saga and the king of meme stocks, had his official X account suspectedly hacked early this morning. The hacker posted the contract address of the meme coin Red Kitten Crew (RKC), causing the token's market cap to briefly hit $12 million before dropping to $1.8 million.

Roaring Kitty appears to have since regained control of the account and deleted the tweet containing the contract address. Roaring Kitty himself has not yet issued a clarifying statement, but the community widely believes that the meme coin contract address was posted due to the account being temporarily hacked.
