霍尔木兹海峡不通，伊拉克借道叙利亚往外运油

Odaily reported on the 2nd that Iraq's border port management department said that 70 oil tankers loaded with crude oil entered Syria via the Rabia border crossing on that day. This marks the first time in 13 years that Iraq has reactivated this overland oil transportation route. The Rabia border crossing is located in Nineveh Governorate in northwestern Iraq. It had been closed for a long time since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war in 2011 and was only reopened this April. The crossing is not far from the oil fields in Mosul and Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
