Odaily reported that according to anonymous on-chain detective Wazz, hundreds of wallets on the ETH mainnet have been drained by a single address, with many of these wallets having been inactive for over 7 years. The incident is suspected to be a novel real-time vulnerability exploit. Crypto user Capitulation added in a follow-up comment that the most likely vulnerability stemmed from storing seed phrases in LastPass secure notes during 2020/21.
