Altman says confidence in UBI has waned, WLD down over 98% from its all-time high

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a podcast that his belief in universal basic income (UBI) has weakened compared to before, and he now favors distributing the benefits brought by AI through methods such as "collective ownership."
Meanwhile, the token WLD of the crypto project he promotes, World (formerly Worldcoin), is currently trading at around $0.25, down over 98% from its all-time high of $11.82 in March 2024. Data shows that the World Foundation previously sold approximately 239 million WLD, cashing out around $65 million.
