Odaily News: According to Gate data, WTI crude oil surged 6.00% intraday, hitting a new high since April 8, and is now trading at $107.49 per barrel. This comes as the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) data showed that the amount of crude oil withdrawn from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in the latest week rose to its highest level since October 2022.
