Avalanche Foundation Launches Research Grant Program, Focusing on Tokenomics and Validator Mechanisms
Odaily Odaily reports that the Avalanche Foundation has announced the launch of a Research Grant Program (Call For Research Proposals), open to academic researchers worldwide. The maximum funding for a single project is $50,000, with a primary focus on research related to Avalanche network economics. The program centers on two core areas: first, crypto-asset pricing and valuation, focusing on how native assets of PoS public chains accumulate value, including the relationship between token issuance mechanisms, monetary policy, network adoption rates, and long-term value; second, validator economics and network security, with a focus on optimal staking ratios, validator reward models, validator set health, and non-inflationary reward mechanisms.
