Iran's UN representative accuses the US of "piracy," demands release of seized vessels

According to a report by Al Jazeera, in a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Iran's representative to the United Nations stated that Iran rejects what it describes as an act of piracy by the US against an Iranian vessel. Iran asserted its right to retaliate and holds the US accountable for the impact of such piratical actions on regional and global security.
