Iran's Revolutionary Guard: Absolute Control Over the Strait of Hormuz Established

Odaily News On the 28th local time, a deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Navy stated that Iran has established absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz and demanded passing ships pay tolls. He emphasized that the territorial sovereignty of the Strait of Hormuz is inviolable, and foreign vessels traversing the waterway must comply with rules set by Iran, including using Persian for communications. He stated, "Without the orders of the Supreme Leader and the will of the people, Iran will never allow even a single liter of oil to flow out of the strait." He also noted that the Iranian military is "with its finger on the trigger" and on high alert.
