挪威主权财富基金CEO:AI部分抵消能源通胀,助力市场吸收冲击
Nikolai Tangen, CEO of the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund, stated that the arrival of the artificial intelligence era is offsetting some of the inflationary impacts caused by energy price spikes triggered by conflicts in the Middle East, helping the market absorb shocks. In an interview on Tuesday, Tangen said: "This is noteworthy because, given the current situation in the Middle East, you would expect it to translate into higher energy prices, higher fuel prices, and higher fertilizer prices." He noted: "To some extent, this has already begun to impact Asia. We anticipate that it will pass through to Europe and the United States via price increases. This is typically negative for the market. But the market is indeed handling it calmly." Tangen expressed surprise that there has been no major disruption in financial markets. "Inflation is usually a factor that hits markets. This is something we must monitor closely. On the other hand, we have AI, which we believe has a deflationary effect. I think this is precisely what the market is currently absorbing." (Jin Shi)
