Blockchain Capital Partner: Polymarket’s non-sports category trading volume in March reached $7.5 billion, while Kalshi’s comparable data was only $1.6 billion

Odaily Planet Daily reported that Spencer Bogart, a partner at Blockchain Capital, posted on X platform, stating that the total trading volume of Kalshi and Polymarket in March was nearly equal, both around $12 billion ($12.29 billion for the former and $12.22 billion for the latter). Excluding sports-related trades, Polymarket’s non-sports category trading volume was $7.5 billion, while Kalshi’s was only $1.6 billion. Although the two have different positioning in the prediction market, it is still strange that they are classified into the same category.
