Cow DAO: CoW Swap Domain Name Targeted in Social Engineering Attack, Control Now Recovered

Odaily reported that Cow DAO posted on platform X stating that on April 14th, an attacker deceived a DNS registrar using forged documents to gain control of the cow.fi domain. The attacker deployed a highly convincing phishing website, executing the attack in two phases: first, by using a wallet stealer to trick users into signing malicious transactions, and then through fake wallet pop-ups to steal seed phrases and passwords. Control of the cow.fi domain has now been recovered, and services have been operating normally on cow.finance for some time, with a gradual transition back to the original domain underway.
