Bank of America: Middle East Impact is Widespread but Uneven

Odaily reported that Bank of America's research report on Friday pointed out that in the United States, the growth forecast for this year has been lowered by 50 basis points to 2.3%, with the direct impact of the war accounting for about three-quarters of the revision; the upward revision to overall inflation is 70 basis points, and core PCE is now expected to be 30 basis points higher than the previous forecast by the end of 2026, reaching 3.1%. For the Eurozone, the bank lowered its growth forecast by 60 basis points and raised its inflation forecast by 160 basis points to 3.3%, with core inflation at 2.3%. (Jin10)
