View: AAVE Exchange Reserves Increase to 2.23 Million Tokens, Price May Continue to Face Downward Pressure
According to a post on X by Darkfost, an author on the CryptoQuant platform, Aave fell below $100 in March. Internal disagreements occurred within the protocol, leading to the departure of core contributors such as BGD Labs and Chaos Labs. Since early February, AAVE reserves on exchanges have increased from 2.07 million tokens to 2.23 million tokens, with Binance holding 1.63 million of them. During the same period, Binance's reserves increased from 1.57 million to 1.63 million tokens. Aave's exchange reserves have now risen above the 90-day moving average, ending the declining reserve trend that began in April 2025. This situation indicates that more AAVE tokens are currently being sent to exchanges, which could lead to greater selling pressure in the short term.
