Coinbase Survey: 74% of Institutions Expect Crypto Market to Rebound Within 12 Months, Allocation Intentions Continue to Strengthen
Odaily News Coinbase officially released a joint survey with EY-Parthenon of 351 institutional investors. Despite the market correction since October last year, institutional confidence remains solid. 73% of respondents indicated plans to increase digital asset allocations by 2026, and 74% expect the crypto market to rebound and rise within the next 12 months. Regarding investment methods, approximately two-thirds of institutions prefer gaining exposure through regulated instruments such as exchange-traded products (ETPs), reflecting a growing reliance on compliant channels. Meanwhile, over three-quarters of respondents believe that clarity in market structure regulation is one of the most critical current issues. Despite increased market volatility, institutional strategies are becoming more cautious. 49% of respondents stated they have placed greater emphasis on risk management, liquidity, and position control, rather than reducing overall exposure.
