Odaily According to a signed article by Yang Yuhua, partner lawyer at Junzhe Law Firm in the UK published on Caixin.com, it was disclosed that the UK High Court had already issued a judicial ruling on March 10th, establishing the stage lead law firm, registration system, and key timeline for Qian Zhimin's 60,000 BTC money laundering case. This case has now entered a phase of advancement with a clear timeline. However, this ruling from the UK High Court has not yet addressed substantive issues such as asset ownership; it is a procedural management ruling. It designates the UK law firm Fieldfisher as the stage lead law firm for all 281 applicants. Fieldfisher will only represent all 281 applicants in issuing instructions to the barristers appearing in the upcoming "applicable law issues" hearing scheduled for July 2026, for unified presentation and argument. Tianjin Lantian Gerui Company (through the litigation receiver) is not included within this scope of representation. The UK High Court also ruled that the stage lead law firm shall establish and maintain a formal register of the 281 applicants.
