China's AI Large Model Call Volume Surpasses the US for Two Consecutive Weeks, Mysterious Model Hunter Alpha Makes the List
According to the latest data from OpenRouter, among the AI large models on the list last week (March 9 to March 15), the weekly call volume of Chinese AI large models rose to 4.69 trillion tokens, an increase of 11.83% compared to the previous week; the weekly call volume of US AI large models was 3.294 trillion tokens, a sequential decline of 9.33%. This marks the second consecutive week that China's AI large model call volume has surpassed that of the US. Last week, the top three globally by call volume were all Chinese AI large models. Notably, the mysterious model Hunter Alpha made the list, with a weekly call volume of 0.666 trillion tokens, ranking seventh. The model introduction on OpenRouter shows that HunterAlpha was launched on March 11th. This model is specifically built for agent applications and is an intelligent model with trillions of parameters and a 1 million token context window.
