"Lobster installation fever" drives up prices and shortages in related hardware equipment market
Odaily According to CCTV Finance, as the popularity of the OpenClaw AI agent continues to rise, the "lobster installation fever" has also led to price increases and shortages in the related hardware equipment market. A reporter observed at a second-hand equipment wholesale stall in Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei Electronics World that within just 20 minutes, five or six groups of customers came to inquire about hardware equipment compatible with the OpenClaw installation environment. One consumer explained: "I specifically came from Guizhou today just to buy the host box for installing 'Lobster'. I've visited several stores, but they're all out of stock, and prices keep rising." The reporter visited multiple second-hand wholesalers, and the response was consistently out of stock. "Quite a few people are asking, but the key issue is there's no stock. It used to be over 3,000 yuan, now it seems to have increased by about 1,000 yuan." (CCTV Finance)
