Odaily According to the "2026 Hurun Global Rich List" released by the Hurun Research Institute, with wealth calculated as of January 15, 2026, Binance founder CZ's wealth reached 200 billion yuan, ranking 12th among Chinese entrepreneurs and 76th globally. There are a total of 23 billionaires from the global cryptocurrency sector on the list. Among them, CZ's wealth increased by over 30%, Ripple's Chris Larsen's wealth returned to 110 billion yuan, and Revolut's Nikolay Storonsky's wealth grew by 122%.
Elon Musk, with a wealth of 5.5 trillion yuan, became the world's richest person for the fifth time in six years, marking an 89% increase. Jeff Bezos ranked second with 2.1 trillion yuan, a 13% increase. Alphabet's Larry Page saw his wealth grow by 65% to 1.9 trillion yuan, entering the top three for the first time.
