Odaily Goldman Sachs equity strategists said in a report that as tensions in the Middle East escalate and investors reassess risks related to AI-related capital expenditures, global stock markets face the possibility of a short-term pullback, but the probability of a full-blown bear market remains low. Strategists pointed out that current valuations are at elevated levels, making the market more vulnerable to pullback shocks, but any adjustments could also present buying opportunities, with limited risk of a deeper decline. Strong economic growth, robust corporate earnings, and healthy private sector balance sheets should help cushion systemic risks.
