Coinbase Developer Platform: SQL API now supports x402 payments

Odaily reports that the Coinbase Developer Platform has announced that its SQL API now supports the x402 payment standard. This allows AI agents to directly query indexed Base blockchain data and pay per request with USDC, without the need for an API Key, account registration, or manual approval processes. It is reported that the SQL API is also the first to access Coinbase Developer Platform services via x402, with more native foundational services for AI agents to be launched soon.
