Gold and silver futures opened higher in early trading this week, with some traders hoping a new round of record-breaking moves may be imminent. Peter Cardillo, Chief Market Strategist at Spartan Capital Securities, said in a report: "Both gold and silver are moving higher. Precious metals are recharging during a consolidation phase, potentially laying the groundwork for another bull run to hit new all-time highs. We recommend buying on dips."
