Aave Founder: Social Protocol Lens' Governance Rights to Be Transferred to Mask Team, Original Team to Serve as Technical Advisors

Odaily reported that Stani Kulechov, founder of Aave and Lens Protocol, announced on X that the governance rights of the social protocol Lens Protocol will be transferred to the Mask Network team. This team has consistently focused on advancing the development of Lens Protocol at the application layer.

The core social modules of Lens will remain open-source and continue to serve as infrastructure for any social applications built on a decentralized path. The original team will continue to serve as technical advisors while focusing on innovation in DeFi, their longstanding core area of expertise.
