Coinbase Markets Annual Review: Launched 110 Crypto Assets and 100 Perpetual Contracts in 2025

Disclosed data shows that a total of 110 crypto assets were launched last year, bringing the current number of tradable crypto assets to over 350. Additionally, the platform launched 100 perpetual contracts, with the current number of tradable perpetual contracts reaching 199. Coinbase Markets stated that 2025 was a significant turning point for Coinbase derivatives, introducing 24/7 trading. In June, the open interest for perpetual futures exceeded $1 billion, and in October, the total open interest for the platform's perpetual futures and futures reached a peak of $4.8 billion. Plans for 2026 include further expanding the product portfolio with new indices, stocks, and emerging assets.
