Matrixport: Bitcoin ETF Fund Inflows Show Continuity, Could Strengthen Again in 2026

Matrixport published an analysis on Bitcoin ETF fund inflows, stating that although the related fund flows are not linear, the overall scale remains quite substantial. Data shows that Bitcoin ETFs had a net inflow of approximately $34 billion in 2024 and an additional $22 billion in 2025, with continuous buying pressure providing support for Bitcoin's price.

Matrixport pointed out that at the beginning of 2025, influenced by Trump's tariff policies, the pace of ETF fund inflows slowed down temporarily. However, for most of the year leading up to the late October FOMC meeting, the inflow speed was still faster than in 2024. Inflows accelerated significantly during the mid-year period but experienced a phase of stagnation in the fourth quarter. Matrixport believes this change is more indicative of a cyclical adjustment rather than a structural weakening, potentially laying the groundwork for a new round of potentially larger Bitcoin ETF fund inflows in 2026.
