Bloomberg Analyst: ETF AUM Reaches $1.48 Trillion in 2025, IBIT Ranks Sixth

According to Odaily, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas shared 2025 performance data for Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) on platform X. The data shows that last year, ETF assets under management (AUM) reached a record $1.48 trillion (averaging nearly $60 billion daily), marking a 28% increase from the previous year. Among them, BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, had an AUM of approximately $248.44 billion, ranking sixth. However, due to Bitcoin's overall poor performance last year, BlackRock's IBIT was the only ETF among the top 15 with a negative annual return, posting a -6.41% return for the year.
