Odaily News Blockchain infrastructure company Flashbots has launched BuilderNet, a decentralized block-building network on Ethereum that aims to “eliminate censorship” and solve one of the network’s biggest “bottlenecks.” Launched on November 26, BuilderNet is designed to allow “multiple parties to collaborate to build blocks.” It is worth mentioning that in recent weeks, about 88% of Ethereum blocks have been built by Beaverbuild and Titan Builder. Coinbase’s protocol expert Viktor Bunin said at X that this is “absolutely significant” because it will “eliminate censorship” and exclusive order flow trading on Ethereum. Shea Ketsdever, product manager at Flashbots, said that the first version of BuilderNet is now live on the Ethereum mainnet and will be available as an embedded solution for L2 decentralized sorting “later.” (Cointelegraph)

Odaily News According to the official blog post, Nethermind and Flashbots proposed a Rollups-based PBS proposal Alternate PBS, which allows the MEV revenue generated based on Rollups to be captured by Rollup itself, rather than by prioritizing payments to the proposers of the ordering chain. Alternate PBS also solves another issue related to stealing Rollup blocks. Without careful construction, the proposer of the ordering chain can observe the base Rollups blocks constructed by unsuccessful Rollups builders and rebuild these blocks for themselves. This allows the ordering chain proposer to receive the value of the building block without the cost of building (just copying) it.
