zkBridge has been launched on the test network.

Recently, Polyhedra Network completed a $10 million financing round led by Binance Labs and Polychain Capital, with participation from Animoca Brands, Dao 5, and ABCDE Capital. This team of top engineers, developers, and researchers from UC Berkeley, Tsinghua University, and Stanford University has developed and deployed multiple next-generation zkSNARK protocols.

Generally speaking,Polyhedra Network is building a full-stack suite of ZKP-based Web3 solutions.At present, Polyhedra Network has realized Web3 interoperability across heterogeneous systems, cross-chain security; and provides fine-grained privacy extensions for Web3 through the stealth address model to meet user privacy protection needs and compliance policies. Polyhedra Network can also provide trust-minimized and efficient interoperability solutions for asset transfer, messaging and data sharing between various Web2 and Web3 systems.

Currently, Polyhedra Network has developed several infrastructure products using Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technology:

  • zkBridge: It provides a secure and efficient cross-chain infrastructure for Layer 1 and Layer 2 interoperability. To achieve this goal, it proposes deVirgo, a novel distributed proof system that can significantly reduce the proof time of zkBridge. Using deVirgo, zkBridge can be 100 times faster than a single-threaded prover. At present, the zkBridge test network has been launched.

  • zkDID: ZK decentralized identity solution, which is secure, interoperable, scalable and easy to use, and protects users' privacy through advanced zero-knowledge proofs that can be used in Web2 and Web3 scenarios.

  • zKNFT: zKNFT is a programmable NFT protocol with dynamic assets and data containers, enabling maximum interoperability. zKNFT is powered by zero-knowledge proofs with a stealth address model to preserve the privacy of the underlying assets.

Currently, the test network of zkBridge has been launched, and we can use zkBridge to complete the cross-chain transfer function of NFT. The following is a specific tutorial.

Click on the Launchpad above to create an NFT first. Fill in the information given, then slide to the bottom of the page, click "Create", and you need to sign a transaction in the wallet.

After the creation is successful, the following page will pop up, click "directly to my NFT".

You will see the specific information of the NFT just created, including contract address, Token ID, etc. Then we click the "zkBridge" button above. Then select the test network, click "My NFT" and the specific information of the NFT you created will appear, click "Start Import", and then click "Next".

Sign the transaction in the wallet to complete the transfer. Transfer takes time, be patient,Do not close the waiting page.

Copy the transaction ID for later redemption.

After the transfer is successful, you can click "Receive", and your NFT will be transferred from the ETH Goerli testnet to the Arbitrum Goerli testnet. If there is a situation where you can’t get it all the time, it is recommended to replace the test network.

"Completed" appears to prove success.
