Crypto exchange Bitvavo obtains EU MiCA license

Odaily News Crypto exchange Bitvavo recently obtained the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA) license issued by the Netherlands Financial Markets Authority (AFM), and was allowed to operate in 30 countries in the European Economic Area. Since the regulatory system officially came into effect in December last year, many crypto companies have applied for this license. MiCA will be implemented in 2023 and cover the crypto asset regulatory rules of the 27 EU countries as well as Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
