Odaily News On-chain analyst ZachXBT said that the 300 BTC recently received by Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the dark web market Silk Road, was suspected to come from the output of the centralized currency mixing service Jambler.
ZachXBT pointed out that the two addresses indirectly related to the transfer (1Mp5hH...mj39 and 1CNDW...R2P) had exchange activities in 2019 and frequently deposited large amounts to Jambler from April to May 2025. Some of the addresses have been marked by compliance tools before.
He believes that the donation does not look like a self-donation, but there are certain compliance concerns about the source of its funds.
