Odaily Planet Daily News According to informed sources, SK Hynix has purchased a cumulative total of approximately 10 trillion to 40 trillion Korean won (about $7 billion to $28 billion) in Korean bond assets this year, with the high-end estimate including commercial paper. As of the end of the second quarter of this year, SK Hynix held cash and cash equivalents of 88 trillion Korean won, an increase of nearly 62% from the previous quarter.

Sources said that since April this year, SK Hynix has begun to expand its bond investments, with individual order sizes typically ranging from 100 billion to 300 billion Korean won, mainly allocating to investment-grade bonds rated AA or above, with maturities generally not exceeding 3 years.
