Event Introduction

The highly anticipated global blockchain technology tour, "Ethereum on Tour," will arrive in Hong Kong on October 13th. Themed "Ethereum on Tour: Toward the World's Computer," the event will be held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Co-organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Blockchain Technology Research Center and the Ethereum Foundation Academic Secretariat, the event features SNZ Capital as a strategic partner, with support from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Department of Computing, ZKP Dynamics, and the Polytechnic University-Cybaverse Joint Laboratory for Law and Web 3. Community partners include the Hong Kong Polytechnic Blockchain Club, 0xUClub, and ETHTAO. The event aims to provide a high-end platform for developers, researchers, and academics in the Asia-Pacific region to engage in in-depth discussions with Ethereum core developers.

The core agenda and highlights of this event include:

  • Authoritative Sharing: Members of the Ethereum Foundation’s core team, including its Co-Executive Director Tomasz Stańczak, will share the stage with Patrick McCorry, Chief Researcher of the Arbitrum Foundation, and Gavin Wang, Chief Investment Officer of SNZ Capital, to share their exclusive insights into the ecosystem’s development.
  • Cutting-edge insights: Dr. Ningyu He, Research Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, will share his cutting-edge research on the reliability of Web 3 infrastructure, providing key insights for building a more robust blockchain future.
  • Roadmap Analysis: Marius Van Der Wijden, a software developer at the Ethereum Foundation, will take the stage to systematically explain Ethereum’s future expansion plan and development blueprint.
  • Practical session: Set up an Ethereum development workshop led by BuidlGuidl engineers to provide developers with a valuable opportunity to apply theory to practice. Active participants will also receive selected gifts.
