According to the official announcement, Gate has published its latest proof of reserves report. As of August 19, 2026, Gate's total reserve assets have grown to $8.215 billion, with an overall reserve coverage ratio of 127%, consistently maintaining above the industry's 100% safety benchmark. The substantial excess reserves further enhance the platform's ability to withstand market volatility and potential liquidity risks, demonstrating robust asset management and risk control capabilities.
Core asset reserves continue to show a growth trend. BTC user assets increased from 21,557 BTC in the previous period to 22,436 BTC, while the platform's corresponding reserve holdings grew from 26,775 BTC to 27,550 BTC, reflecting an excess reserve ratio of 22.79%. ETH user assets rose from 374,348 ETH to 375,429 ETH, with platform reserves increasing from 456,798 ETH to 458,203 ETH, achieving an excess reserve ratio of 22.05%.
In terms of stablecoins, the combined user assets of USDT, USDC, USD1, and GUSD increased from $1.336 billion in the previous period to $1.578 billion, while the corresponding platform reserves grew from $1.59 billion to $1.761 billion. The overall reserve ratio stands at 111.63%, with an excess reserve ratio of 11.63%.
Additionally, reserve ratios for major assets such as GT and XRP also significantly exceed the 100% reserve standard, reaching 131.15% and 116.09%, respectively.
