Odaily Planet Daily News Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said on Monday that the company currently prioritizes STRC preferred stock, cash reserves, and credit operations over stock buybacks. Affected by Bitcoin's decline, MSTR has fallen approximately 38% this year. Saylor stated that if MSTR trades at a "very deep discount" relative to net asset value, a buyback may be considered, but it is not a priority at present. Strategy CEO Phong Le defended the issuance of new MSTR shares, stating that when MSTR trades above the value of the underlying assets, issuing shares to purchase Bitcoin can increase per-share BTC holdings. After STRC declined, the company has held $4.8 billion in cash to cover dividend payments, and Saylor plans to maintain a substantial cash balance for flexible operations.
