Iran's Supreme National Security Council: The Strait Will Not Reopen Unless the US Accepts Iran's Conditions
Odaily News: Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Rezaei issued a statement: "The United States is the source of insecurity in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman, endangering the entire region by imposing an illegal war on Iran. The Strait of Hormuz will not reopen unless the United States changes its behavior and accepts Iran's conditions. The United States must end the war, release frozen Iranian funds, and bring an end to all wars across the region, including Lebanon and Gaza, in addition to meeting other conditions conveyed to the U.S. side through intermediaries. If Iran and Oman reach an agreement on transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz, that agreement will be handled separately from the issue of the strait's closure." (Jin Shi)
