Hyperliquid launches HIP-4, first supporting permissionless deployment on the testnet

Odaily Planet Daily News Hyperliquid stated that HIP-4 will support permissionless deployment in a future network upgrade, first on the testnet and then on the mainnet. Similar to spot and trading token deployments, HIP-4 technology requires thorough testing in the validator deployment environment before expanding to permissionless deployment. The staking requirement for HIP-4 deployers is 500,000 HYPE. If the market definition is unclear, settlement does not comply with template specifications, or settlement is not completed within one week, the staking requirement may be deducted through a validator vote. As with HIP-3, the deployer's staked tokens will be locked for 6 months. To unstake, the deployer must settle all markets. HIP-4 deployers will be able to set fee shares of up to 50% in the deployed markets, and the fee configuration feature will also be introduced as a subsequent function.
