Odaily Planet Daily News: According to Matt Corva's monitoring, a security incident occurred at MetaMask, where a North Korean hacker named Tyler Knapp infiltrated the team. The hacker entered MetaMask as an outsourced contractor through a long-term collaborating human resources supplier, bypassing the background checks of direct company hires. He worked at the company for one month and participated in the development of the wallet's fiat on-ramp and off-ramp functionality. During this period, he was detected by the company's security monitoring due to abnormal IP and behavior. The company immediately revoked all his permissions and suspended the release of all products he had handled. So far, no actual data or financial losses have been caused.
