The United States has officially initiated a 337 investigation into DRAM devices and their downstream products and components (II), naming Samsung Electronics, Google, NVIDIA, and others as respondents.

Odaily Planet Daily News, July 15th – The US International Trade Commission voted to initiate a 337 investigation (Investigation No. 337-TA-1511) regarding certain dynamic random access memory devices and their downstream products and components (II). The US International Trade Commission will determine the investigation end date within 45 days of initiation. Unless the US Trade Representative vetoes the decision on policy grounds, any remedial orders issued by the US International Trade Commission in 337 cases will take effect from the date of issuance and will become final on the 60th day after issuance.
