Web3, as a next-generation internet ecosystem based on blockchain technology, is seeing its social implementation steadily advance, attracting participants from around the world. I have heard that this year's Web conference has attracted approximately 15,000 participants, making it the largest Web3 event of its kind in Asia. With the active participation of numerous startups and the organization of various matchmaking events with investors, it holds immense significance as a platform for promoting business collaboration and connections.

Prime Minister Takaichi's new cabinet places great importance on nurturing startups. In May of this year, we just launched the "Comprehensive Startup Promotion Policy Package," aimed at strengthening the "Five-Year Plan for Startup Nurturing." Through the implementation of these measures, coupled with the momentum generated by this year's WebX 2026, I am confident that this will further stimulate the growth of startups and promote innovative challenges across various fields, thereby propelling the further development and takeoff of Japan's innovation ecosystem.
