Russian Man Kidnapped in Bali, Held for 30 Hours and Forced to Hand Over Cryptocurrency Accounts

While riding his motorcycle home from work, he was stopped by a black Nissan Serena van. Two masked assailants bound him with plastic handcuffs, covered his head, and took him to a two-story house. The man was held captive for approximately 30 hours, during which he was subjected to violence, including being punched and kicked. The assailants forced him to reveal the passwords to his cryptocurrency accounts, seized his phone, and used keys taken from his motorcycle to enter his residence. They stole a second phone to gain further access to his accounts. Around 4:00 AM on July 4th, the man was dumped near Udayana University Hospital in Jimbaran and subsequently received medical treatment.
